For over ten years, Matt Garnes has worked in the mortgage and real estate business
specializing in finding just the right mortgage product for each of his clients.
Born in Anaheim, CA, (the same town as Disneyland “The Happiest Place on Earth”)
Matt enjoyed growing up in a large Southern California family consisting of nine aunts
and uncles, cousins as plentiful as LA nice weather days, and enough nieces and nephews
to populate their own county. After high school, serving in the Marines, and attending
college, Matt moved to Colorado. He successfully ran sales and marketing for several
businesses until he found his true passion; real estate finance. After gaining valuable
experience in the Colorado and Arizona markets, Matt eventually found his way to the
booming city of Las Vegas.
“I have enjoyed living in Vegas, building my career, enjoying time with my wife Lana
and son Matthew Jr., finding a church to join, and making some wonderful friends. For
over 6 years now Matt has helped hundreds of clients in the Las Vegas valley realize their
dream of home ownership. The Las Vegas and Henderson areas have grown even in the
years since he has been here, and his career has grown along with them. Trying out
different mortgage companies he finally found Prime Cap, now Evofi One, where he
finally felt he had room to grow, and the freedom to do business the way he felt was right.
Many people do not realize all of the everyday activities there are to do in Vegas and
Henderson unless they live here. All of the new building reminds me of growing up in
SoCal during that real estate boom. I am very excited to be a part of all that both
